Where do you tutor?

Due to COVID 19 social distancing, we currently are doing all of our tutoring online.  We have over a decade of experience delivering engaging, effective tutoring online.

What are your hours?

Hours are by appointment.  We will work with you to develop a schedule tailored to your needs.

Do you tutor AP classes?

Yes, we tutor AP Calculus (AB/BC), AP Chemistry, and AP Spanish.

What are your class sizes?

We primarily do one-on-one tutoring.  We also tutor small groups of compatible students (same curriculum, similar aptitude and preparation).  You can put together your own group or let us know of your interest in participating in a group and we will look for compatible students.

Do you do test prep for SAT Subject Tests?

Yes, we tutor SAT Math I, SAT Math II, SAT Chemistry, SAT Spanish.

Do you tutor organization and study skills?

Yes, we assist students at all levels to develop organization and study skills tailored to their abilities and strengths.  We not only provide effective approaches, but help the student understand why these approaches optimize the learning process.  We teach them to avoid the most common ways that students waste time and fool themselves into thinking they’re learning when they are not.

What does tutoring cost?

Call us to discuss.  Cost varies depending upon number of students,  the level and the location. From time to time we offer special pricing for purchasing 5 or more hours at once.  We do both one-on-one and small group tutoring.

Are you familiar with my child’s curriculum?

We work with students at Vandegrift, Westlake, St Stephens, Lake Travis, Trinity and Hyde Park.  We know many of the faculty and understand the curricula.
